Being lazy here but I have seen a feature in some forums where a little box pops up when you login if you have a PM , might be a nice feature to add

Check your profile - you can be notified about the arrival of PMs.

That doesn't look right, somehow.

Pop up window on new Private Message:
Some templates may open a new window to inform you when new private messages arrive. Yes

That is ticked yes but have never seen a popup window , will check browser in case it is a browser setting

I just tested this, the feature is activated and working.

Firefox 3.0.4 on Windows
Popups disabled, but exception added for site
(Tools->Options->Content)
