What does everyone think of a insulation forum for the site?
One of the principles of power switching that has become an established principle is,you should super insulate your house before considering any form of micro generation or DIY generation.
There has been some great threads over the years with expert input by Kenneal and others.
However, the web seems to lack a coherent repository for the basic science and discussion on materials, know how, DIY tips etc.
The site could once again be a focal point for those who wish to reduce their energy bills and be one step ahead of the energy decline that is coming.

Talk to the Energy Saving Trust. I was chatting to one of their reps last year, at the Highalnd Baby Show (don't ask!) and he said they could come out with one and survey your property free of charge.
We never followed it through, and I don't know if they still offer it, but maybe worth checking?
