Inventing for the Sustainable Planet

Post by MaxWahlter »

So what would a country living sustainable look like? How would a city look? What work would people do? How would the economy work? These questions are the starting point for the novel ”Inventing for the Sustainable Planet” by Post Carbon Sweden co-ordinator Stephen Hinton.

The book follows the literary tradition of science fiction – allowing the imagination full reign – to perhaps hit on some kernel of realisation. It follows the exploits of reporter Max as he tries to find ways to make money on sustainable technology, only to find the main innovations are social.

The book presents some interesting insights into living sustainably, not least the inner journey of powerdown. It also acts as an instruction book for Imagestreaming, one of the most powerful inventing techniques available.
