This is so relevant to socio-cultural collapse that I hope it is allowed. There's a new film been released in the US which basically consists of a man going around the world asking all sorts of people - from activist/scholar "experts" in the US to Masai tribesmen in Africa - the simple question "What is a woman?" You can imagine the responses from the "experts", most of whom walk away from the camera when they realise what they are dealing with. As you can also imagine, it is causing earthquakes on twitter and facebook. It is also being systematically shunned by film reviewers in the US, none of whom are brave enough to touch it. I have just been permanently banned from reddit for promoting it.

We must deal with reality or it will deal with us.

I think I should attempt to explain my previous statement.
What really, really worries me is the way that even the most liberal of people are actually scared to try to answer the question in case they somehow "get the answer wrong" and are forever labelled as a bigot, transphobe or whatever the appropriate term is.

I don't know why that should be controversial. A woman is a female human being with all the faults and attributes of any human being. If you're talking about my wife, however, she has no faults!!

It turns out that the best way to disrupt transgender ideology is to ask one simple question: what is a woman? Creator Matt Walsh asked each contributor the same question with purist focus in this brilliant and horrifying new film. The obstructions, circular reasoning and threats to walk off the set revealed that gender is like “a jenga tower”, as Walsh says.
I spoke to Walsh about the film just a few days after its release. It has gone down a storm and Walsh was busy fielding interviews. He was also cautious; a publicist was off camera in our video call, and they recorded the interview. I don’t blame them for wanting to keep the record straight. What is a woman? is wildly controversial and successful, and that attracts peevish and disingenuous reviewers.
We must deal with reality or it will deal with us.
