Are there any reliable figures for how much new windpower capacity is under construction in the UK ?
I refer here not to plans that might or might not go ahead, but to projects where construction is started.

Also are there any figures for planned capacity that is virtualy certain to be built ? not hopes and aspirations, but schemes that already have all the required permissions and approvals.

The Guardian reports that the first turbine in the Dogger Bank wind farm, rated at 3.6GW, has started exporting power. Completion in 2026.

Sounds good , any more ?

I regard the expansion of wind power as increasingly urgent. Wars in Ukraine and in Israel will increase the risks of price increases and shortages of natural gas and oil.
Wind is not the complete answer, but could play a larger part.

East Anglia Three started construction last year. 1.4GW in 2026, hopefully.

Phases one north and two were approved 2022 and passed legal objections in July. Not sure if construction has started.
