On a rare trip to the City of Newcastle, New South Wales I saw my first Tesla in the flesh on the road today. Nice to see that they have made it to Australia even if you need to sell your house to get one.

My neighbour uses one for a luxury taxi! He always has the same rich clients for airport runs [100s of miles] and he is very organised. I'm sure he costed it totally. He has solar panels as well.

One day last week I saw 6 full electric cars in my car park at work in one day, (size about 30 vehicles ) and a couple of electrics. 4 leafs, a BMW and a Tesla.

In Cambridge, this is quite normal.

Good idea! With depreciation he can get the taxman to pay for it. I would be interested in such a thing for an airport run. We are about 230 km from Sydney airport. Well within range I think.
