Peak Oil transport?

Our transport is heavily oil-based. What are the alternatives?

That's not a packet of sweeties, it is in fact the Yellow Tube Of Death...when she's activated it with her voice and thrown it over her shoulder, the punk with the huskies'll be history.

Have dogs been mentioned on this forum as a form of transport? My Labrador pulls me along on my bike at quite a speed. Yes I know, very dangerous, but great fun.
Let nobody suppose that simple, inexpensive arrangements are faulty because primitive. If constructed correctly and in line with natural laws they are not only right, but preferable to fancy complicated devices.

Because it is clement.

I've just realised the toddler's wearing a BP jacket. This could be interesting...

We had a lab like that once; I used to sometimes get him to pull me on the bike to try to use up some of his energy. He was practically bomb-proof and an incredible swimmer.

Also, there was no way, on the flat, I could beat him on my bike, even with me getting a head start. Unreal.
