Transport planning.

Our transport is heavily oil-based. What are the alternatives?

Same here (in fact I don't work at all at the mo). But I've been referred to as a "three-sigma person" :D and they weren't wrong either!!

But have they?

Or has the increasing cost of everything swallowed up the savings they've made? So, although they're using less energy, they're no better off financially.

Maybe, but our leaders are desperately trying to keep the economy growing, exponentially.
