I can't believe you guys are devoting headspace to this; it's patently obvious that this "solution" doesn't scale and is a net energy loser - period. Move on!

I agree, but these things need ro be addressed, even if only briefly. That's why I was suggesting a place to post the wacky ideas that come out, expose them if they're a waste of time, then move on.

I did speak to someone (in the FCO) about OM Energy recently and they acceptted that it would not work on a mobile basis regardless. THeir argument is that it is an energy efficient mechanism of hydrolysis.
