Current prices & availability of electric bikes?

Our transport is heavily oil-based. What are the alternatives?

Current prices & availability of electric bikes?

Post by Vortex2 »

Hi team,

In late 2021, are electric bikes still availble, in view of the current chaos?

Also, what would a short range model simply to access local shops be likely to cost?

Thanks.

I'd recommend the Bosch central drive motors. We have a 400Ah from Cube. Cube are good as they do large frames, a lot of e-bikes simply aren't available in large enough frames for tall people. No idea about availability today, we got ours long before Covid and I was shocked at the price rise since then. A brief look just now, suggest prices are up ~50% since 2019.

I got mine from an e-bike specialist and when I took it back for a minor repair recently they seemed to have plenty in stock. I don't know what the prices are though.
