Oil Before Railways

It's not only on a global scale we need to change the way people think:

An Oil Storage Depot will be built across the trackbed of the Keswick to Penrith Railway at Flusco after Eden District Councillors voted by 8 to 3 today to approve a planning application from Brogans Fuels Ltd.............

CKP Railways plc was formed in 1998 to reopen and operate the Railway between Keswick and Penrith as a modern public transport link. The aim is to run modern trains integrated with other National Network rail services and local public transport to provide all day, every day transport for residents and visitors alike. Independent assessments quote likely passenger numbers of over 400,000 per annum.
