Ford to demonstrate new electric Transit van

Ford is to participate in a new UK programme which will see drivers given the chance to test the new electric Transit Connect van in the coming months.

The manufacturer has signed up to be part of the Ultra-Low Carbon Vehicle Demonstrator scheme, supported by Scottish and Southern Energy, which will see a modified fleet of 21 vehicles dispatched for use in Hillingdon during 2010-11.
