I've been nominated/nominated myself to start a new thread for the next Peak Ale trip (by popular demand, not because I'm bossy).
We're heading into the deepest darkest depths of East Lancashire on the Rail Ale Trail in the afternoon of Sat 4 Aug:

Suggestion is that we meet at The Trackside, Bury - what time do you reckon Andy?

Uh sorry I was going to start the thread ... Of course you're not bossy ES
*ducks*
How about 2pm, or is that too early for people?
Rail Ale promises to be one of the best yet! A steam train through beautiful Lancashire countryside taking us on a mission to get steamed! (and talk about peak oil of course).
Transition Town Bury members have shown a keen interest in this one, do a few of them might be along!

2pm sounds fine, we don't want to be rushing along the trail. And I've arranged for it to be sunny that day.
A couple from South Ribble transition Towns say they're coming, and Boyd from Transition Bolton has already confirmed.

Me too - I've washed my best shorts and T-shirt, because ES has made arrangements for summer to make an appearance Saturday (strangely the BBC weather forecast makes no mention if that).....
....anyway, by way of consolation to any soggy attendees, I believe that Ian and her will be buying all the drinks
See ya there!
