Trouble in Ireland

Post by Forever_Winter »

I'd be interested to know why there was so much violence in Dublin last night after those people got stabbed.

Rumour has it that the perpetrator was a 'foreign national who'd been there for a few years'.

Interesting that they're labelling the rioters 'far right'. Funny that.....

Follower of a certain 'peaceful' religion perhaps? I think one religion divides the world into the House of Peace and the House of War.

One would have some sympathy except that the Irish are not too innocent when it comes to terrorism.

I agree the police are being very quiet on the identity of the suspect.

Calling people "far-right" is a rather lazy cop out for people who are unable to face facts and defend the indefensible.

First thing I did when I got up this morning was turn on the news, and it was Varadkar making a statement. By the end of it I was just left wondering what on Earth he was talking about -- none of it made any sense.

There were clearly opportunists involved who were more interested in looting than anything else, but the very fact that the Irish authorities aren't willing to talk about what actually triggered the riot goes quite a long way in justifying the actions of the rioters. They think something is being hidden, and they are right. Presumably the perpetrator was either a Ukrainian or a muslim immigrant.

Still no response on the nationality of the perpetrator. Rumour has it that he was an Algerian.

He's in hospital and has not been charged. Not sure how true any of this is, but laws are going to be tightened against 'far right' extremists '.

If the government wont release details of the suspect then it does raise a few questions.

Gotta love this photo. Holding the Irish Lives Matter sign upside down at a riot is something only the Irish could pull off.

According to official statements, some people are "making hateful assumptions" which sounds a bit like an admission that the knifeman WAS of foreign origins, and perhaps a follower of the religion of peace.
"Installers and owners of emergency diesels must assume that they will have to run for a week or more"
