Breaking news. No one at this point seems to know what is going on but early thoughts suggest a major earthquake may occur at any time. I have to dash to work shortly, and hopefully a new story will be written by some of the brilliant scientific minds on Daily Kos that will provide updates and analysis. Why isn’t the mainstream media all over this story? Thank God for the green roots for breaking this story.

All across the internet over the past day, people have been talking about a massive buildup of carbon monoxide along the entire West coast of America and into Canada as seen in the videos and pictures in this story. Steve Quayle was quick to point out on his website a story from 2010 from an earthquake expert in India who points out that our planet Earth emits a burst of carbon monoxide several days prior to an earthquake and we're told that this gas could be used as a 'earthquake early warning system.'

The story from the Seattle Times on Saturday tells us that nearly 6,000 emergency workers including military personnel will soon be conducting a 'Pacific Northwest megaquake exercise' called 'Cascadia Rising'; held over 4 days at the beginning of June, the exercise will pretend a quake strikes that will dwarf the quake that struck on February 28th, 2001...15 years ago yesterday.

The comments on the Daily Kos article seem to suggest that it is human-produced smog (which contains CO) not moving due to a high pressure system,
