German Military admits Peak Oil
Just found this on another like minded forum.

The study, whose authenticity was confirmed by SPIEGEL ONLINE in government circles, was not meant for publication. The handle is a draft, they say. A purely scientific opinion, which had not yet been edited by the Defense Department and other bodies of government.

Why do you think I didn't correct it to "An English translation" or "A translation into English"Haggis wrote:Look LB, it's in the same kinda grammar what you use!JohnB wrote:A english translationLord Beria3 wrote:Interesting but the link you include is in german. A english translation?

Heres a better translation. Official.
Regarding the substance of the report, it very much goes with my analysis of world events going forward, in particular the dreadful medium term implications for global financial mkts once the implications of peak oil are absorbed by investors.
Furthermore, its pessimistic outlook on the future of the free market, the viability of democracy and the increased geopolitical tensions from aggressive oil producing nations goes in line with my world analysis going into the next 20 years.
Folks who are reading this and want to know more, please go to the Big Question thread.

Finally, the conclusions that food shortages are a high probability and that many states won't be able to transition from oil in time fits in with my thesis of a eventual systematic collapse of industrial civilisation and a global die-off, even if their are pockets around the world of states which manage to survive, the globalised world as we know it, is doomed in the long term.
