This is an Iranian government website, so not sure how useful it is other than to tell us what the Iranian government wants us to think: a sort of Voice of America for Iran. Many of the comments following the article are pretty offensively anti-semetic.

Aye, this though is backed up on an Israli site (lost the link, sorry).

This is why I said 'Iran?' - are they just posturing or moving towards a 'conclusion' of sorts?

Seems to be more concerned with the international attitude to the occupied territories.

You all realise that this website is actually visible to Jewish people, right?

What's that got to do with the price of fish?

Nothing anti-Semitic has been mooted as far as I can tell.

It's not outright anti-Semitic, no, but "what a stupid time for New Year" makes me a leetle uncomfortable, especially when I read it just after reading another thread which contains a line about Jewish people being really bad with water conservation.

A 'leetle' uncomfortable? Keep that up and you'll offend every Mexican bandit on the planet.

It's hard to say for sure - I'd accept the possibilty that Jewish people ARE bad with water conservation, although personally I'm doubtful that they are any more so than the average gentile. In fact, my understanding is that Israel uses water extremely efficiently, because it has to.

Comments like "I hope we aren't invited" referring to Jewish new year I think are silly and there is a definite undertone of antisemitism to them. The whole smug liberal "Palestinians good, Israelis bad" agenda is something I've always found pretty distasteful.
