Police cut gas terminal numbers

Police protection at a Norfolk gas terminal, which pumps in a third of the UK's gas, has been cut.

Bacton Terminal, near Cromer, provides a third of the country's supply of gas and detailed maps of the site have been found in terrorists' possession.

Norfolk Police has announced it is cutting round-the-clock protection because government funding has come to an end and the force cannot afford it.

I didn't even know there was round the clock police protection, a bit tough on Norfolk to have to pay for it, I suppose.
