I hope that Donald Trump comes up with some evidence of vote tampering if he has any. I personally think that it is highly suspicious that the Democrats seemed to come up with enough votes to win these swing states. Happy to accept that the Democrats promoted postal voting and the Republicans did not but if I was American I would like to see some investigation into it. I hear that the UK has suffered from postal votes being compromised in the past.
Again I think that had Donald Trump not messed up the response to Covid and picked a fight with John McCain of Arizona then it would be a whole different story. The policies were fundamentally right but the messenger was deeply flawed.
One can only look on the bright side that at least my share portfolio went up by 4000 pounds today. Thanks to Joe for that. We will see what will happen when Joe starts to spend money and the Fed Money printers start to go into overdrive.

I hear it was because they hired a 'Four Seasons' venue thinking it was the hotel chain, but it turned out to be Four Seasons Landscaping. Hilarious whether true or not.

UNDERSTANDING TRUMP’S COUP STRATEGY
Although everything currently unfolding has been predicted far in advance, denialism continues to flourish. Many people are drawing incorrect conclusions with regard to Trump’s strategies and discounting the crisis before us.
He has to either have a legal case which is strong enough that the Supreme Court, much of which, he put in place can bend the law enough to find for him. And that assumes that his place(wo)men would want to bend the law to Trump's ends. They may be conservative but they must know of Trump's mental instability. Mustn't they???
The other alternative is that enough of his supporters would come out on the streets, armed, to prevent him being removed from the White House and also make the swearing in of the new President impossible. I doubt that the officer corps of the armed forces would side with him as there can't be much trust left after the events at the church where protesters were swept aside to allow Trump and his retinue to "parade" bible in hand. But that still leaves the enlisted men. Whether many of them would side with him, I don't know.

I quite agree. I think you will see that the American system has enough checks and balances built into it that even a lose cannon like Trump can't upset the apple cart for more then one election cycle.

I'm just watching a presentation to the Earth Building UK and Ireland (EBUKI) online annual conference from an American contributor. He is referring to the IRC building code, the International Residential code, governing building and in this case, earth building in the US. I find it a strange attitude of the US that they should impose building regulations on the rest of the world and not be embarrassed about it. The World Series for a game that only the US plays is another case in point.

I do believe that that contest is open universally although I have not noticed any entries from other planets. Maybe they have sneaked in through other countries from earth so as to not draw too much attention to themselves. It would be interesting to see if an entry from Miss Mars, for instance, would be accepted. It would also be interesting to see what a Miss Mars looked like!!
