Intu own both shopping centres in Nottingham. One of them, Broadmarsh centre is partially demolished and was going to be a massive new development in the South of the city, the centre was old and tired and still looked like it did in the 70's. I remember a few 1970s childhood visits to the Broadmarsh centre. It had very strange things (mobiles?) hanging from the ceilings. It looked pretty dated even in the 1970s. I much prefer the Victoria centre. It was called Seafolly and I suppose it was a bit of a folly in the end. As regards budgie smuggling I think the products were aimed mostly at the female market so I think if there was provision for budgie smuggling in their products then there may be something 'wrong' with the wearer. "budgie smugglers" is a slang term for a style of close fitting men's swimwear or sometimes underwear that shows the outline of the male parts. I think it is an Australian slang term for what people in the US call speedos.
