Appalled and amazed that you think this was good

It would be easy to curse you and all your descendants for that but instead I would like to wish peace and happiness to all your family
I never said it was 'good', I used it as an example of what full support might look like. You were *wrong* to suggest Ukraine has received the full support of NATO.

So nato isn’t sending arms vehicles and satellite targeting info to Ukraine? Or maybe really the nato boots on the ground ‘advisors’ that are still managing to make a pigs ear out of the silk purse they were handed on a plate?

Point taken. It would be world wide Armageddon to do that though so I discount it as a serious option in this situation.

That was my objection

UE, this stuff is so irrelevant that it’s not even worth dismissing.

Ukraine, with the full support of NATO, has totally failed to get anywhere with the spring offensive. Russia remains in control of the territory it set out to protect.

Just look at where things are on the ground.

Continuing to delude yourself on the basis of western propaganda just makes you a laughing stock to those poor souls actually living and suffering there
If you weren't a lone voice peddling this narrative then I might ask myself whether you might be right.

He didn't say it was good. It was a factual claim, not a moral judgement.

At this point I really don't care whether you are actually a Russian troll or a British person with a very strange way of assessing the truth. I'm not learning anything useful from your posts, so I am basically ignoring them.

I’m sorry to hear that. I’m just a 59 year old English guy who made most of my living busking around towns in the midlands for about 30 years. You may even have seen and heard me playing. I once got a go playing harmonica with the Uk subs in a gig in wellington Shropshire and you probably have heard some of my harp playing as session musician for various other bands.

Finding the UK Subs playing in an obscure pub in wellington was one of the best jams I ever had though.

I’m sorry you’re simply ignoring my post though, particularly as you just said I might actually be right.

Never mind. Stay safe. Love your children.

UE: “If you weren't a lone voice peddling this narrative then I might ask myself whether you might be right.”

Well there’s your window back to sanity. Of course I’m right and just like the idiotic Russiagate fiasco over that election interference was trounced and now the Hunter Biden laptop (err - remember 51 American security specialists wrote a letter claiming it was Russian disinformation but OOPS IT TURNED OUT TO BE TRUE but I probably don’t need to go on trouncing the world news we get impregnated afresh with every day

What happened to change your mind and go back to thinking I’m wrong?

How can you be so stupid for so long when a quick twiddle with your phone can leak at least some reality into your life?

Is your wilful ignorance a lifestyle choice?

You can just look this stuff up for yourself you know?

There’s no excuse for ignorance while we have the internet at our fingertips

UE: “ I'm not learning anything useful from your posts, so I am basically ignoring them.”

Nothing like a closed mind to totally fail even in your philosophy thread.

I guess the world and the needlessly slaughtered Ukrainians
are happy to know that you still keep posting some trivial and frankly useless stuff about rewilding your land

UE: “ I'm not learning anything useful from your posts, so I am basically ignoring them.”

Well frankly, that’s your loss. An unexamined life is not worth living.

“ I never said it was 'good', I used it as an example of what full support might look like. You were *wrong* to suggest Ukraine has received the full support of NATO.”

So the full support of NATO in your understanding of this situation is that the world nukes itself into death.

You might consider here what the full support of NATO means. It means very little unless you want full on nuclear war.

Honestly, I do try to find forums with members intelligent enough to have a rational discussion with, but you’re all f***ing nuts too

And I bet that in 3 years time you’ll have to pretend that Russia should have had its territories and that the west throwing those Ukrainians under the bus was a really good thing
