Do you really think that Biden is running the US when he is so obviously in the grip of terminal dementia?
And when both candidates suffer the same maladies? He certainly might. He beat the traitor from his basement last time, and there is a year to go yet.
“When both candidates suffer the same maladies”

When a country with a population of 339,996,563 can delude itself to extent that ANY dementia riddled presidential candidate could somehow be ‘in charge’ demonstrates the total farce of American democracy.

I’m not saying ours is any better.

<yawn> Jealous much? So vulnerable that the worst deaths on American nuke carriers were by accidents and fires onboard, without anyone in any of the serious wars they've been in for 6 decades laying a finger on one?
“Serious war” - the US has never yet fought a serious war. Came late to the party in WWI and WWII (and only in WWII after the Russians had done the heavy lifting).

All you’ve done is ‘destroy the village in order to save it’ against hopelessly inferior countries who you either left in worse situations than they started with or continue to sit in their oil fields and pretend you’re not just stealing their resources.

No I’m not jealous. I’m disgusted. And the fact that you think I should be jealous or admire you for this just illustrates the depth of your depravity as a nation which was once admired by the world.

There's so much deadlock in the US political system that the next President will have very little leeway to do anything. Americans have a habit of putting a President in and then electing the opposition into Congress to keep them in check. The Supreme Court is probably where the Democrats have been caught napping. Notorious RBG really should have retired during a Democrat President.

Back to the killing zone. I see the Israelis are trying to clear the North of Gaza and the unholy alliance of hard left, rapefugees and Islamofascists are still marching in cities in the West.

They think they are special, we made a rod for our own back there, the islamofascists aren't to blame, they just took advantage of all the line we gave them. 'Islamophobia' is now in the Oxford Dictionary.

The vast majority of all Muslims, Jews and Christians worldwide are decent, honest law abiding people. Just misguided about the nature of the universe.

Hopefully Islamofascist is also in the Oxford Dictionary.

Hmm. Really? I lived in Islamabad for a couple of years. My lived experience is completely at odds with that view of yours.

I suspect your comment may have been tongue in cheek though - or merely derogatory if you mean to imply that you have some superior understanding of the nature of the universe inaccessible to the common people.

Interesting to note that the Victorians considered Muslims to be sexual deviants especially in the homosexual area. Sir Richard Burton wrote his infamous Karachi Brothel Report in the 1840s.

How things change!

So we now have senior Israeli military officials accusing the UN high commissioner for human rights of anti-semitism, for calling for investigation for the number of civilian casualties in Gaza due to Israel's indiscriminate use of high explosive munitions.

There will be a reckoning for this. The current Israeli government is run by genocidal fascists and the west is complicit as is every person who fails to speak out.

I suspect there will be violence at tomorrows March in London. The Home Secretary has been signalling to every right wing bunch of thugs in the country to “Go and beat up the the towel heads for me” on every media channel she can. It is in clear imitation of Trump in Washington.

I do not know what to make of Ms Braverman. She clearly fancies herself as the next leader of the tory party. If she gets it then she will be the most socially right wing tory leader in living memory. It's not just this issue -- she is deliberately provocative all the time. Does anybody really live in a tent as a lifestyle choice?

I once knew a Welsh man who lived in a shared house with mein London who preferred to camp in the garden in January because he found the house too hot.

Over wise, no.

Assuming the Tories will be tatters by this time next year, with a Labour majority of 100+ and Sunak nowhere to be seen - SOMEONE will need to be the opposition tory leader and that person could well be Braverman.

Steady on now. The Muslim world can match genocide as good as any Israeli government. Armenian genocide. Saddam's Anfal campaign. Assad and ISIL in Syria. Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt trying to exterminate the Copts.

Was the West complicit with Ottoman's, Baathists and others as well?

Please explain what reckoning you expect to happen.

PS Braverman sounds an interesting potential leader. An ethnic Indian espousing BNP style policies. I would definitely join the Tories if she becomes leader.
