Dance, sing and be merry.
Dance like you're a cripple who has just been healed, sing like you're a mute who has just found their voice and be merry like it's Christmas, your birthday and your wedding day all together!!!!!

I cannot express the joy I feel right now. I have never felt like this before in response to the death of another human being. I feel the world is a better place, just because she is no longer in it.

She was pure evil manifest.

I think you missed out her part in deregulating the city- leading to the bank bailouts and financial mess, refusing to support sanctions for South Africa, calling Nelson Mandela a terrorist, covertly supporting Saddam Hussein, overtly supporting General Suharto starting the groundwork for privatising the NHS, craven support of the USA, human rights abuses in Ireland, introduction of clause 28, covering up Hillsborough and supporting Pinochet and his fascist regime.

*edited when I remember other things she did*

Thatcher and Suharto:
To understand the significance of Suharto is to look beneath the surface of the current world order: the so-called global economy and the ruthless cynicism of those who run it. Suharto was our model mass murderer - "our" is used here advisedly. "One of our very best and most valuable friends," Thatcher called him. For three decades the south-east Asian department of the Foreign Office worked tirelessly to minimise the crimes of Suharto's gestapo, known as Kopassus, who gunned down people with British-supplied Heckler & Koch machine guns from British-supplied Tactica "riot control" vehicles.

....you're forgiven......

I've just read that she supported the Khmer Rouge too............

from Wiki
The Thatcher government supported the Khmer Rouge keeping their seat in the UN after they were ousted from power in Cambodia by the Cambodian–Vietnamese War. Although denying it at the time they also sent the SAS to train the Khmer Rouge alliance to fight against the Vietnamese-backed People's Republic of Kampuchea government.

She was also a close personal friend of Jimmy Saville. A pint to anyone who spots that in a mainstream obituary!

But it can sometimes work against him- like that time where he walked straight out of the door the minute he learned the person he was debating was Israeli.

The Guardian - 08/04/13

Lady Thatcher will receive a ceremonial funeral with military honours at St Paul's Cathedral.

Article continues ...
And who's paying for that?
