1982 again? I don't think so. Since their economy collapsed (1997?) I doubt they'd be able to afford many exocets.

Falklands oil firm Rockhopper claims discovery:

One of the oil and gas companies currently drilling off the coast of the Falkland Islands says it may have struck oil.

Rockhopper Exploration said that initial data collected from one well "indicated an oil discovery". The find would be the first in North Falkland Basin, the area north of the islands currently being explored.

That is about as understated as I have ever heard an oil company press release.

The well has a total of 53 metres of oil bearing shale and sand with an average porosity of 19%.

No idea if it will prove economic, but SA 2 or even NS 2 it is not.

world for more than 3 days!
