Palin geography!
"She didn't understand, McCain aides told me, that Africa was a continent and not a country and actually asked them if South Africa wasn't just part of the country as opposed to a country in the continent," he said on The O'Reilly Factor programme
Is she the female GWB?

I was very surprised that the Governor of Alaska couldn't name the member countries of the North American Free Trade Agreement (Canada, US, Mexico).

I'm no fan of Sarah Palin but what makes me slightly uncomfortable is that the dreaded Fox network are driving these leaks/attacks. No doubt they have their own preferred candidates lined up for 2012.

She probably can't count to three.

On the basis of the claim in the above picture, she must be Michael in disguise, which would figure. She often sounds like a Monty python sketch.

She's probably fairly typical of the average American in her ignorance and if you asked the average British "yoof" similar questions they would probably be just as ignorant. Mind you, you wouldn't want one of them to stand for the Presidency either.

The 'Governator', while being an American citizen, was born outside the country (ie Austria) so cannot be President or Vice President. I do believe he can be a Senator or a Representative though.

There are bills on the shelf (a sort of legislative limbo - neither alive or dead) in Congress which were introduced specifically to address the Governators problem. If the circumstances were favourable, his Austrian birthplace would not be an insurmountable problem. In the current circumstances, with a Democratic majority in Senate and House - its not going to happen.

A Canadian radio comedian managed to spoof her into believing she was talking to Nicholas Sarkozy.

Nicholas Sarkozy doesn't speak English.

Hmmm.... this might be why Sarkozy got 30 minutes with Obama and Brown 10 minutes. Plus France have the EU Presidency, of course.

There were questions about JM as well because he was born in Panama on a USAF base.
