It's very telling that, according to reports at the time, the conference the CEO was due to speak at didn't miss a beat. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think they even bothered with a minute's silence.
Classic fodder for the thesis of that book (and also a film) 'The Corporation'.
Meanwhile apparently another health insurance firm - Anthem iirc - put on hold a proposed change which would have witheld payouts for people whose anaesthetics lasted longer than planned (e.g. because a complication was found, or they had a heart upset while under).
Anthem is a book by Ayn Rand.
Meanwhile Luigi - whose crime unlike that of most other shooters has been defined as an act of terrorism - has pled Not Guilty.
