So, Colorado has about 200 murders a year with a population of just over 5.7 million while the UK with a population of over ten times that at c 64million has a murder rate of 671. And you consider that good, RGR? Some respect!!

Well, this is supposedly a peak oil forum, and no one wants anything to do with discussing that. The pandemic at least revealed that this is a doomer forum, so why not change its name and then it won't look so weird, all the conversations being about anything except the original rapture trigger that failed?

If there's no oil talk, and you don't like all the "doom", why are you still here ?

I am sorry to say that I agree. At least there seems to be a general acceptance that in this and in other similar cases, that the police acted correctly in shooting the attacker.

Saw photos of the teachers classroom lots pro mass immigration pro multiculturalism drawings quite sweet , and photos of his head are now circulating ,the jihadi shared them at scene and people like me on the right are saying we told you this would happen.

I suppose that we now have to wait to see just how long it will be before some nutter picks up the idea and runs with it in the UK. London or Birmingham are my bets for the location with London a strong first. The perpetrator might come from Bradford or Slough though!

I am glad that I moved from London ! The risk of being a victim of terrorism is in fact low, more people are killed on the roads than are murdered by terrorists.
But for some not logical reason, the risk of being beheaded or blown up FEELS worse than the risk of being run over.

And it is at the back of my mind, that a much larger attack is possible with hundreds or thousands of lives lost.
London is a more likely target than North Somerset.
