MarchToLeave

This seems a bit pointless.

It ends of the day we leave (?) the EU so it won't influence any voting.

Also a linear march - or selection of mini-marches - means that the majority of Brexit supporters won't be able to take part due to distance or problems with walking.

The £50 fee also sounds reasonable - but overall it will put people off.

Also, spreading the protest over several days weakens the effect.

I would have though that a mini-protest in each town and village on a single dedicated day early enough to influence voting would have been more effective.

No fees, minimal travel, no walking, easy nationwide access : all could have led to a major turnout.

BTW the press seems to be fairly low key on the march ... should I be surprised?

I was going to have a read through but Farage’s face reminded me I’ve better things to do.
