Man down

Post by Little John »

Odaeio, otherwise known as Mitch, has died I believe. Someone posting from his private email accountl to my email, presumably a mate of his, has linked to a set of pictures of a stone that has been laid in his name, by his mates in the real world, by the side of his beloved canal. Some of you may remember, last year, Mitch had quite a bit of bother with the authorities over his canal boat and it's location and his right to dwell in it. This was further compounded by several health and mobility issues. I am guessing those issues took their toll.

I have linked to the photos here for anyone interested in seeing them:

Rest in peace mate.

Yes, RIP Ashley.

Seems like he had plenty of friends and supporters to look after him.

Thanks for posting this LJ.

Sorry to hear it. I guess the state no longer had a use for a 'non-productive' soul. Go lightly on the earth.

My measurable productivity continues to decline. More and more of my time and energy goes into keeping my adopted offspring from imploding from the stresses of what the state now demands of pre-teens, regardless of the damaged state of their psyche. I am physically aching from the effort of calming the older enough to sleep last night.

Thanks for that LJ. If you hear any more details, let us know. Good to know he had friends, poor man.
