Well there is that but I thought the prospect of one individual amassing a couple of million dollars worth of guns , ammo, cash , gear and motor vehicles all on the QT and then dieing without making arrangements to pass it on to someone before he died would stir up the usual outbursts about American excess.

I suspect that the majority of us are neither surprised or very bothered....

The US is not the centre of the Universe.
There are far more important/interesting things going on.....

Yes I think his future as a problem solving engineer at a defense contractors R&D lab is quite bright if he can only survive the teenage rebellion against authority issues.

In the UK the possession of handguns is illegal so he wouldn't have been able to do this and now that he has criminal proceedings against him he wouldn't have a hope in hell of buying any gun - legally.
