Bad weather turns UK into gas guzzler

Post by RenewableCandy »

Centrica, which owns British Gas, says gas use in the first four months of 2013 was almost a fifth higher than last year because of the cold weather.

But the cold weather and increased gas sales saved us from triple recession, so that's all right. ;)

Southern Softness is an attitude of mind. It has nothing to do with geographical location or place of origin! :)

Guilty.

It got so unseasonably cold that the thermostat read 16degC. Even in the depths of Winter I'd have turned the heating on if the house got that cold.
