The view from Russia Today. They don't seem impressed by Lockheed Martin

I’ve always assumed that British and US intelligence cooperate and should they wish they have access, via assorted legislation/links, to a vast range of an individual's personal records, e.g.
- central government
- local government
- police computers
- educational records
- NHS records
- Email
- ISPs
- phone records
- hacking your computer
- supermarket accounts
- Google/YouTube
- Ebay/Skype/PayPal
- Facebook
- Twitter
- DODGY TAX AVOIDERS
If I’m right there’s surely nothing on a census form TPTB couldn’t find out by other means?

exactly.
I used to think along the line of "oh my god, big brother is watching you" and used to be very anti census. Then I just thought, sod it.
Really, paranoia is not needed. TPTB couldn't organise a piss up in a brewery, so collating some 60 million peoples data and picking you out as a victim for further study is hardly likely. How important do you reckon the average prole is?
Now everyone, tin foil hats off.

Nor me, but I don't like the sound of it. The Patriot Act basically gives the US Government free rein to do anything they like with anybody, with no legal recourse whatsoever. (Among other things, they can force "vaccines" down you and if those vaccines do you any damage or kill you, though shit.)Pepperman wrote:It's pretty important from the point of view of allocation of resources on a regional basis. I really think there is no harm about revealing the kind of information they require. Why the hell they felt the need to commission a US defence contractor to do a bit of data collection, I do not understand.

At least they have a constitution to stick a loophole in.Ludwig wrote:Nor me, but I don't like the sound of it. I didn't see anywhere (and there were a lot of places to look) about writing badly, with indistinct and/or incomplete letters (e.g. | _ for L) or writing right to the edge of the boxes or overlapping.
Will be practising crossing out and writing outside the box.

I quite like the idea of putting in false information to mess it up. Not names and addresses but things which are nothing to do with the Governent like state of health and qualifications (I could give myself a PHD!).
Who's going to check sixty million records to see if your health is really as bad as you say?
(I definitely am getting more left-wing as I grow older.)

That's really useful, biff. I've passed it on to various UK people.biffvernon wrote:How to Fill In Your Census Form without Lockheed Martin Profiting:

The Irish census is being processed by a firm called CACI. Anyone any information about them?
