I've booked my place, & thought other local peakniks might be interested...

PERMACULTURE INTRODUCTORY WEEKEND
Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th September 2005
From 9.15am to 5.30pm
At St Werburgh's City Farm, Watercress Rd, St Werburgh?s, Bristol, BS2 9YJ

The Course involves
?Talks, discussions and workshops on the principles, practice and ethics of Permaculture.
?Slide shows of examples of Permaculture in Bristol and around the UK.
?A short observation walk around the area to look at natural systems and useful plants.
?Practical gardening session on the Boiling Wells environment project site.
?The course is informal and suitable for all levels of knowledge and experience. Plenty of time will be provided for breaks, refreshments and networking.
?Reference books will be available for further reading on the day.
?The course is led by Sarah Pugh.

What to bring ?
?Vegetarian food to share. Lunch will be made up of food brought by everyone. We will supply soup and bread so just bring a dish of something to add to the meal.
?Warm, waterproof clothes and boots. We will be going outside for some of the sessions
?Pen and paper if you want to take notes.
?Seeds or plants to swap if you have them.
