Ivybridge has been added to the "upcoming" Transition Towns.

Ivybridge Environment Action Group is next meeting on Wednesday 6th December 7.30 in the Town Hall. This is our AGM, and includes a talk on Permaculture.

The links are no longer active and most people are not survivalist and preppers in the US sense. They just like sewing and vegetable gardening.

I would consider it helpfull for members to state in what general locality they live. Remarks about weather, local shortages, or even the most suitable preps make more sense if one knows the general locality being disscussed.
Not much point for example, in posting "bumper wheat crop round here" without stating where "here" is !

It is probably best though not to be too specific, especially if talking about stockpiles, or even about minor illegalities such as installing a small PV system without telling the part pee police.

There is no obligation to state you location, nor any prohibition against giving out your full address.
I would however suggest giving a general locality, such as "london" or "wiltshire" etc.
"Installers and owners of emergency diesels must assume that they will have to run for a week or more"

Hi Adam2
So is it London or Tamar?
What a shame, seemed quite promising, this human species.
