Yes i'd like to go if it's ok although the places i can go to are limited by my parents.

PS: Did anyone here go to the recent seed swap a couple of weeks ago. Free seeds, and it will be back next year. Share the seeds and help the community. It was in Bedminster.

Any chance you could bring them along? What do they think of peak oil?

They recognize the problem, i'm not sure they have considered the worst case scenarios though. However they are reluctant to do much about it. My mum would probably want to come along though.

PS:Anyone been following the bus fare campaign?

This thread had a grand total of five posts in 2006. How about we do a little better in 2007?

To start us off I'm looking for a dozen people for ~3 hours on a Sunday afternoon in Feb to talk about personal thoughts/feelings/responses to peak oil - basically just meet each other for a chat. I know this can be a difficult subject to get to grips with and face to face discussions can be a great help.

Any takers?

Okay - as it happens my first two weeks in Feb have been / will be pretty crazy.

I'm thinking Sunday 25th Feb 3pm.

Location to be determined but maybe Watershed cafe on the harbour?

Any takers?

Due to general lack of organisation on my part (not actually telling anyone apart from this message!!) then I don't think this is happening.

However - exciting things are afoot in Bristol. See this:
