Hello all

There are quite a few PO aware folk in Oxford and the surrounding area, and we thought rather than being outdone by the London folks (who always seem to find an excuse for a 'meeting' in a pub) - we ought to set up a regular Oxford 'meeting'... ahem.. in a pub. The inaugural meeting will be in the lovely Gardners Arms which is on Plantation Rd in Jericho. We will be meeting at 8pm on Friday 23rd September and I'll bring a copy of 'The Party's Over' by Heinburg, and leave it prominently on the table to help you spot us, although those who know it will know that it is a very small pub so you shouldn't have too much trouble spotting us. Anyone is welcome to come along, voice your fears, think about solutions and generally have a good evening among folk who don't look at you like you're Cassandra when you mention Peak Oil. We hope to make these meet ups a regular thing, so come along, bring your mates - it would be great to see you

Sounds fun... I might be able to get there if I can finish up some stuff in London early enough.

I could carry around a copy of my bright green book -- a little more visible than Heinberg's!

We'll be there (rachel+tag)
We'll be wearing our newly acquired chemical suits and white wellies so as not to draw any unnecessary attention... there's more where they came from if anyones interested - got a job lot from one of Tag's jobs. Sorry, i seem to have lost all interest in reality.
See you Friday.
