The Christmas Party's Over (London)

Post by PowerSwitchJames »

Any London PowerSwitchers interested in a general meet up and drink for December - a little Christmas Party's (Over) perhaps? We could probably tie it in with the Peak Oil - Global Impact event on the 14th at the LSE (finishes about 8 I think, so plenty of pub time afterwards).

Yeh, that would be much fun. Possibly have to meet up with work people after the LSE lecture though but if we can't find another date I'm sure I could prioritise

Absolutely!
And I think this might be the first time I make the most of the 24hour drinking laws! :D

Sounds great! Should be there if my boss doesn't decide to ruin it for me again like the November meetup.... How am I going to recognize you all? Will you be wearing bell shaped caps with a PO logo on? :D

So should we all meet somewhere after the lecture?

I'll pop into the Edgar Wallace on Monday and see if their upstairs room is free.

If there is a lobby, we'll meet there, and then after the lecture I think the plan is to go to the onsite pub, The Three Tuns

Are those not attending the talk also going to be able to get into the bar? I'm sure there will be some coming just to the Christmas Party's Over and not the talk.
