Fair Fuel UK - DEFRA Air Quality Campaign Survey

Post by kenneal - lagger »

Could we all go to the Fair Fuel Price UK website at the address below and fill in their form to get some realism into their thought process over DEFRA's air quality plan. Too little, too late really especially in view of accelerating Global Warming.

Unfortunately in some of the questions there is no suitable answer for anyone who cares and knows a bit about the environment. The form doesn't require all fields to be filled though so you can leave a question if there isn't a suitable answer.

This has been blinkered or deliberate policy by them since their inception; either way it reveals their bias. It's still worth trying to sabotage their aims though.

Plus a 'yes/no' answer is rarely suitable. For instance, "Do you agree that the sales of new DIESEL cars should be banned from 2040?". My answer is no, they should be banned before then.

And WTF is this question:

"Are new dedicated cycle lanes a contributory factor in causing congestion & for this reason help to lower air quality too?"

Answering no to that last question is essential.

A few of the other questions which had no suitable answer to slant the survey result their way I just left blank without any problems in sending.

The question is so deliberately badly worded that most people will either ignore it or put "don't know", possibly meaning they don't understand.

This is oh-so-typical of these leading question surveys. I have told them as much in the comments.
