Permaculture and Peak Oil

Hi everyone
I've been documenting some of the preparations my partner and I have been making for a post-carbon age on http://www.greenliving.co.uk. Our downshifting plans are well underway as we've sold our house and have no debts!
We have a particular emphasis on using permaculture to undertake an 'energy descent', as David Holmgren put it. We've carbon-profiled our lifestyles and are doing quite well on the Global Commons' Contraction and Convergence model. All useful experience for coping with Peak Oil.
Any feedback or thoughts on www.greenliving.co.uk welcomed.
Cheers
James
