Hi.
Does anyone know of a supplier of hard wheat, in bulk sacks?
Thanks.

Try hodmedods.co.uk
They may not sell it - I don't know - but they're likely to have information about it. My only connection with them is as a customer.

Might be worth asking any local farms if they will sell a sack for cash.
Around here I have seen signs beside the road offering wheat and other crops for sale. Not certain if it was hard wheat or not. £25 or £30 a sack, of about 25 kilos.
I am told that it made good bread, very cheaply.

Tried .. for some reason it seems to be soft wheat ... so not great for normal bread.

The bread that I ate at a neighbours seemed fine to me, wheat purchased from a fairly local farm, and home ground in a child powered flour mill, and home baked.
Not certain what type of wheat it was.
