Gas bottle wood burning stove

Hi, if you cannot afford a wood burning stove why not make one out of a empty calor gas bottle. I have made about 10 all different sizes and styles and they chuck out a lot of heat.

I wouldnt want to trust one in a home long term.
Has anyone said they cant afford a stove?

I've read stories of the joints failing and being a bit of a fire risk, but I've also heard of many of them being used successfully for years. I'm not sure I'd feel happy about having one in my van, if was suitable for fitting one.
I've seen a nice one made out of a milk churn, mounted horizontally in a metal frame, with the lid as the door.

I knew a guy who swore by stoves made from fire extinguishers in his vans/trucks - they can give out more than enough heat. A stove as large as a blue calor cylinder would be far too hot for a wee space like that.
