That is a fact.
.., maybe they're expecting another civil war...?
A few actually are. A larger group thinks being prepared for one is the best deterrent to one actually happening.
More of this is the only logical outcome....

That was a truck load of fertilizer and diesel fuel. No firearm involved.

Just like the UK, which started the industrial revolution because of a happy accident of geography and geology, we had a lot of coal and mineral ores readily available. All those stats of yours are just the result of another happy accident of geology and geography, you had a lot of oil readily available and a lot of prairie land although you have been careless enough to let a lot of it blow away.

"The world's only military superpower"? Because you let your government spent more than the rest of the world put together on armaments while you have one of the developed worlds highest infant mortality rates and, in 2018, you were rated 29th in the world for access to health care and quality. Being a world superpower isn't put above access to health care in most countries.

Far more than you suspected even!

How exactly does that superior DNA manifest itself ? Certainly not in average IQ, the USA ranks 24th globally, whereas our poor breeding stock managed to make the top ten.

I'm not at all surprised, it doesn't fit well with your "superior DNA" belief.

That explains a lot, too many people filling their buckets from the shallow end of the gene pool.

Yup. Just genetics in action, leading to global hegemony. Good enough for a working theory anyway. :)

It manifests itself in President Trump and the large number of people who support and vote for him! And in the people in that photo who feel the necessity to go to a political rally armed to the teeth. Reminds me of the early days of the Nazi Party in Germany with Trump in the place of Hitler.

I'm not so quick to make that assumption.

I think the white nationalist brand of misogynist xenophobia is a small splinter group about the size of the communist revolutionary wing of the Democratic party. Trumps major supporters were anybody but Hillary people and are much less radial then the far right. Of course the vocal extremist are the ones that show up at rallies and protests so appear to be the driving force both right and left.
That" anybody but Hillary" group is up for grabs as they have been dismayed at Trump's ineptitude. They would love to vote for a competent person somewhere near the center. A senile liberal does not meet that test so Trump might well win reelection.

That was my assumption early on as well.

You would hope so but apparently not true. When it became possible that Bernie might win the Democrat nomination with about 35 percent of the vote with the rest split between four or five possible contenders the powers that be on the Democrat side twisted arms and forced out all the other contenders (I wonder what hey promised each of them ) so it became a contest between Bernie (A white jew) in the south with a Democratic black majority. The voters had no real choice and are stuck with senile Biden.
