JonB before you wait too long I'd better warn you that I can't see Phobos' picture either! And I'm on broad banned.

We've got a 250 litre Albion Mainsflow cylinder ( http://www.albionwaterheaters.com/Mainsflow.htm ) in the loft with extra insulation around it. The mainsflow coil is in the form of about a dozen 8 or 10mm pipes in parallel to give a higher surface area than a standard coil. We can shower comfortably with a cylinder temperature of 50 deg C and a bit lower in the summer.

I've got one of the large "coffin" water tanks, not fitted yet, in the loft in case I want to go "off grid" with the water. I could get this above the HW cylinder to give a working head and use a solar powered pump to pump treated collected rain water to it.

JonB (not to be confused with JohnB!) posted this link as an image, but it should have been an ordinary URL

Aaaarrrgh! Why can't people have silly names like mine that aren't confusing? And all this begs the question, did they both come on a sloop :D ?

JonB joined long after JohnB, so it's his fault :D. My brain isn't working well enough today to butcher any more song lyrics, but if anyone else wants a go
