What changes can we make to our lives to deal with the economic and energy crises ahead? Have you already started making preparations? Got tips to share?

This guy is good. Jim Jeffries, not seen him before.

Many's the true word spoken in jest.

His best point is that disaffected Americans will be bringing their guns to a drone fight.

They'll do what is necessary. Or, a lot of them will.
If some sort of public order isn't maintained there'll be looting and theft, and lots of it. Those making their way through the problem lawfully will be the victims of those who decide to just 'do what is necessary'. In any collapse scenario, gradual or sudden, it's this aspect which i fear the most because it may drive me to fatally wound somebody stealing from me.

Unfortunately Mr B, there will be no where near enough effective justice to deter or catch those who steal, but I bet the rozzers will spend every last penny prosecuting someone defending their property [unless it was given to your family by the Normans - then you can shoot grapeshot at any peasants just for looking scruffy]

You are talking America here not England. Many Americans have guns in the house and would feel quite justified in shooting anyone who broke into their house or attempted to walk off with any object not belonging to them much less assaulted anyone in their family.
There is a good reason race rioters stay in their own ghettos and burn their own buildings (or at least their landlords buildings). If the riot spilled over into the white neighborhoods they would get shot as soon as they stepped off the street or threw a rock at a window.

I'm sorry. When you used the word 'purchased' I became confused. What does the word mean?
Here:

after you have installed Zenmate to google chrome

You might also find this a bit of a laugh:

You probably have adblock installed already, if not it's advised.
My tame nerd got me the entire Jericho series in HD, something like 29 episodes.

Watched the first few. Very American-slanted of course but otherwise quite good entertainment...not much more than that. Life is/will be far messier.

For instance, what happens to Jericho's residents' poop? Aren't there more important things than make-up? Isn't it convenient how most bullets miss, except when they're supposed to hit for the sake of the plot? How come everyone's 'starving' yet no-one loses weight? Will they ever run out of motor fuel?

A bit more grit and realism and it would be gripping.

I haven't seen this as yet but you can't expect a low budget show have actors lose weight for a role like Matthew McConaughey .They are supposed to ACT starving and your supposed to let yourself get into the story. And it would take too long to have them change clips every thirty shots and slow down the fast and furious action scenes. So you get the never ending 1000 round clip in a M-16. The army wishes they had those and are probably working on it.
enjoy the show. We will get realism and grit soon enough.

Accepted but it would have been more believable if they'd spent less! Ragged clothes and no make-up, for instance. Instead, questions ignored or left unanswered, credulity stretched and horrendous effects of nuclear attack minimised; apocalypse is easy if you can do method acting. If armageddon arrives, this is how folks think it will be like. Evil is contained, the cars keep running, people at last recognise their true lover. The Day After Tomorrow was similar - an extremely serious subject glossed with a happy ending. I expect the same with Jericho.

Still, for all my criticism, it's better entertainment than some things I've seen. But that's all it is - there's nothing to learn about its central premise.
