Why fresh water shortages will cause the next great global crisis

Last week drought in São Paulo was so bad, residents tried drilling through basement floors for groundwater. As reservoirs dry up across the world, a billion people have no access to safe drinking water. Rationing and a battle to control supplies will follow
BTW Mods, why doesn't the 'preview' function work correctly any more? It's extremely useful to edit a post before final submission.

Ah, do you get a blank preview post like me? I was beginning to think it might be some extension in Safari (on a Mac) that was causing a glitch. It doesn't always give a blank post, only occasionally.

Yes, this problem only started after the recent issues with the PS web site.
I was beginning to think it might be some extension in Safari (on a Mac) that was causing a glitch. It doesn't always give a blank post, only occasionally.
Agreed. I'm using Firefox 36.0.1 on a PC. Same problem.
