It wouldn't help. The history of revolution shows that getting rid of one set of rulers just results in a new, equally dreadful, set replacing them. Its the system that needs changing not the people at the top.

Revolution is about changing systems. Changing leaders is just window dressing.

The civil war changed the leadership for only a very few years and certainly didn't change the system so, according to Steve's definition, no revolution.
