Kara must have a massive house and been a right waster to be able to save that much.
By the sound of it she is just at the evolutionary stage of discovering the off switch.
£528 is not far short of my TOTAL spend on energy.
I do believe that some of the media types live on a different planet. Perhaps they should.

Hi,
There are tons of ways to save energy around the house and cut bills. You can install timers on your light switches and swap out low wattage bulbs in every room (the spiral ones that last forever). Check the seals around doors and windows and replace any that are cracked or leaking and place something to block drafts on outside doors. Organize you fridge and freezer so you do not have to waste tme searching for items. Be certain to rearrange the freezer so air can circulate (i.e. don't block the vents in the rear). Unplug appliances that are not used daily. Recycle as much as possible. I'm certain you'll get alot more.
