How will you vote, or would you vote if you could?

Seen in Totnes today:

If I could vote, it would be Green, but it looks like the owner of the house where I officially live forgot to add me to the last voters form, so maybe I'm disenfranchised as well as homeless

John you can register to vote until 19th May - so you still have time! :)

I am also not on the electoral register. I didn't realise it was possible to be added at this late stage. Maybe I'll contact the local council.

Thanks. Do you have to do it in person, and will I be able to get a postal vote, as I won't be going anywhere near "home" between now and the election?

Edit
Just checked my local council web site, and the online forms seem to be 4 years out of date!

I started this poll after I had picked up a Green Party Euro election leaflet that had been sitting in my junk mail pile for a few days and saw that Caroline Lucas, Green Party MEP in the South East and leader of the Green Party of England and Wales, was being endorsed by national treasure Joanna Lumley, no less. Well, if a posh bint like Ab Fab Joanna is a Green Party supporter, rather than a true blue Tory, Labour luvvie or socially sensitive LibDem, it got me wondering what other supporters there are out there in celebland.

And what the demograhic was on this discussion board in this one countrywide election where you can vote for the Party/candidate you actually want to win, rather than voting against the one you want not to win.

I can't say I'm greatly surprised by the Green/don't vote weightings!

Yes, quite. Plus, they have nothing useful to say about peak oil and climate change. They want a traditional, nationalistic version of BAU.

I can't believe most people have put down the green party... you don't seriously believe they'll actually make a difference do you?

Hey, this is just a bit of fun!

The BNP vote and one of the UKIP votes appeared like fairies in the night.

You mean that voting for one of the others might make a difference?

In 37 years of voting I've never managed to vote for a winning candidate. Are all my votes wasted or do they add a little encouragement and influence?

Are you suggesting my BNP vote is frivolous?

And who are you calling a ****ing fairy?
