Hey! Look at the Bopha tracking map. It is still alive and well and gone back UP to cat 3. Measuring from start to finish this has got to be one of the highest energy storms on record. It became a tropical storm on November 27th, cat1 Nov 30, cat4 Dec 1st, cat5 Dec 2 with wind speeds of 160mph, back briefly to Tropical Storm after crossing the land and now back up to cat 3. It is now about to make landfall, again, in the northern Phippines, after killing hundreds of people in the south, and then going back down to tropical storm status as it does a 180 degree turn and head out to sea again.

It will have lasted for the whole length of the Cop18 and more!
