I'm not sure any CDC staffers should be forced to risk surveying Ground Zero. Unless they were recruited from volunteer retired experts over the age of 85.

Six cases of the coronavirus have been discovered in the area, the local authorities report. Son Loi consists of several small villages. The people are not allowed in or out of the area indefinitely.

So mass-quarantines are going to become worldwide policy?

I would not be surprised if the Chinese authorities ARE shooting people.
"Counter revolutionaries"
"Foreign agitators"
"Persons spreading rumours"
And the like. However they are well aware of the dangers of smart phones and the internet. I would expect such shootings to be done in a secure place with no risk of counter revolutionaries filming events.

So publicly available "evidence" of shootings is almost certainly fake, and one of the videos has been withdrawn.
